The Emblem of Sanatana Dharma College has the phrase ‘satyam, sivam, sundaram’ inscribed in it. The three words represent the essential and fundamental nature of life. ‘Satyam’ means the eternal truth, ‘sivam’ symbolizes the bright and good aspects of the Universe and ‘sundaram’ stands for the everlasting beauty that underlies cosmic life. The tree in the middle is the tree of knowledge, of life and the three angles represent the Trinity, the Lords of Creation, Sustenance and Dissolution. The circle that surrounds the angles within portrays the eternal nature of the Universe. In short, the emblem represents the values of truth, beauty and goodness ingrained in all living beings, which are enhanced by education and need to be passed on from one generation to the next.

The logo depicts resplendent and ripe paddy fields waiting for the shining sickle of the Kuttanad farmer, nurtured by the life-giving power of azure waters. The iconic strength of the fine and entwined strands of coir symbolizes unity and love. All these unique features of Kuttanad culture which define the soul of S. D. College are portrayed by the logo.
