The club works to discover and foster the literary talent of students. It conducts reading programmes, interactions, literary competitions, etc. involving students. The club is coordinated by Dr. JYOTHI ( Dept. of Hindi) and Dr. SINDHU ANTHARJANAM ( Dept. of Malayalam) were co-opted to coordinate the activities of the Club.
The Literary Club meets once a month and the meetings are presided over by students. The members present their poems and other creative output like ‘speeches, critical appreciations of books they have read, recitation of poems and readings from well known texts. Teachers also participate in the programmes. The members also support the activities of the Drama Club and the Cultural Club. They take initiate in many activities of the College Union. Selected members were given training in speech, debates and presentations which would help them in intercollegiate competitions and University Youth Festival.
