Dr. Roshmi Thomas
Dr. Roshmi Thomas is Assistant Professor at the Department of Microbiology, Sanatana Dharma College. She joined the Department in 2018 as Assistant Professor (on Contract), moving on to Substantive Appointment in 2021. She has prior teaching experience at Assumption College, Changanacherry (2017-18) and S.B. College, Changanacherry (2006 -10). She holds a Doctoral Degree in Microbiology from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala (2016) and was awarded Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) by the Indian Council of Medical Research – ICMR (2015-17). Dr. Roshmi Thomas holds the credit of submitting seven gene sequences to NCBI gene bank. Several journal publications, chapters in edited books and conference presentations testify to her academic excellence. She has served as a Member of the Board of Question Paper Setters (B.Sc.) S.B. College, Changanacherry (2017-2020).

She has worked as quality controller in Regent Plus and MPEDA , Cochin, Kerala.
