He started his carrier as a teacher from 1st June 1988. He secured his Ph.D in the year 2003 from University of Kerala in the area of Tourism. He was the NSS Programme Officer during the period 2007-2011. He was got Special award for Best NSS Programme Officer for the Year 2009-10. Now he is the Co-ordinator for the E.D club and Scholar Support Programme.
