Ms. Arya S.
Ms. Arya S. is Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Physical Education, Sanatana Dharma College. She has procured M.P.E. and M.Phil. Degrees in Physical Education from Lakshmibai National College of Physical Education, University of Kerala. She has several conference presentations and publications to her credit, and has qualified as a KBA (Kerala Basketball Association) referee. She officiated the Senior State Basketball Championship held at Thrissur in 2013 and Sub-Junior District Basketball championship held at Trivandrum in 2014. She has played a pivotal role in preparing the College team for sporting events and brought laurels to the institution. She has participated in national and international workshops on Sports including the workshop on the “Role of Sports Authority of India in the development of Sports in Kerala” organized by SAI –LNCPE in August 2013.
Special Education, Aerobics, Exercise physiology and Basketball Coaching.
She attended the Leadership Training Programme organized by The National Adventure Foundation in May 2012.
Ms. Arya S. was part of the Kerala University Basketball Women’s team which represented the University in South Zone Inter University Basketball Tournaments held from 2010 to 2014.
Her team finished as Runners Up in the Inter-Collegiate Hockey Tournament held at L.N.C.P.E, Kariavattom in the year 2009-10.
She participated in theYouth National Championship held at Bhilai, Chhattisgarhin 2008.
She acted as a Volunteer in 35th National Games held in 2015.
