Ms. Lakshmi S. is Assistant Professor at the Post Graduate Department of English & Research Centre, Sanatana Dharma College. She joined the Department in 2021 with prior teaching experience as Assistant Professor (on Contract) at Mar Ivanios College, Trivandrum (2017-18) and N.S.S Polytechnic College, Pandalam (2020-21). She holds an M.Phil. Degree in English from Madras Christian College (MCC), University of Madras and is currently pursuing Ph.D. at the institution. She has several journal publications and papers in national and international conferences to her credit. Ms. Lakshmi S. has been a part of social outreach programmes organized by reputed organizations. She received the Award of Honor from Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Govt. of India (2020) for her study on the procurement of forest products by Adivasis.

Ms. Lakshmi S. took part in the one-day interactive programme with tribal students, “Pedagogy for Rural Learners of English as a Second Language” jointly organized by English Language Teachers’ Interaction Forum (ELTIF), Thalassery and IGNOU
Ms. Lakshmi S. is a classical dancer proficient in Bharatanatyam and Kathakali.
She is also a theatre performer. She played the lead role in a performance of Wings Flapping Somewhere organized on World Theatre Day (March 27, 2016).
